Wow... never considered fonts having b-days....of course.
Still a crap ugly, boring font though... I'll use ANYTHING but.
Altho.., yeah i concede how influential it is... yadda,yadda,yadda. -

If Helvetica is the grandaddy of the san serif fonts.... then optima is the "missing link" to the serif fonts.
